Do you accept insurance?
WWP is not currently in network with any insurance providers. However, a superbill will be provided to our patients to submit directly to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. It's important for patients to check with their insurance provider regarding the specific fees and coverage for out-of-network providers.

Do you offer telepsychiatry/virtual appointments?
Yes! Telepsychiatry and in-person appointments are available to Illinois residents. In-person appointments are completed at the Oak Park, IL office. All telepsychiatry/virtual appointments are completed via a secure digital platform.

What can I expect during the first appointment?
At the initial consultation, we will discuss your desire for seeking treatment as well as your personal history, which may include questions about current and past symptoms, medical and psychiatric diagnoses, medications you are prescribed, family history of illness, and important aspects of your life such as relationships, your occupation, and your interests and passions. The goal of this consultation is for us to get to know one another and to understand whether you will benefit from further evaluation and treatment.

Do you work with children?
While there are various reproductive issues that undoubtedly affect young women/girls, Well Woman Psychiatry only sees women 18+.

Do you offer one-time consultations?
Yes! You may be actively engaged with a psychiatric provider but have specific questions related to treatment during/around pregnancy or menopause. We are happy to provide a one-time consultation to answer your questions and collaborate with your provider.
